Isaiah 56:7, Revelation 2:4, Matthew 21:13, John 3:18, John 5:22,
Acts 17:30-31
To the Church of Ephesus, Jesus wrote these words,
Thou hast laboured for my sake in this part of the world.
Nevertheless, I have somewhat against thee,
Thou hast left thy First Love, repent, return to me.
Could it be said of your church and mine,
That we have lost our first love, He's been left behind.
If God should ask us this question today,
I wonder, I wonder, just what would we say.
What have you done with My Son?
Why is He standing out there?
He should have been here inside,
This is the Lord's house of prayer.
The world today has told us that God is not alive.
Do whatever pleases you, the limit is the sky.
But how come doing as you please doesn't satisfy,
There must be an answer, and here's the reason why.
God is very much alive and He made you and me,
He said that we are sinners, his Son died to set us free.
We were made to love Him and praise Him every day,
And nothing else will satisfy, Jesus is the way.
What have you done with My Son?
God will ask each one some day.
What have you done with My Son?
Your life hinges on what you say!
My friend let me tell you what the word of God does say.
Jesus Christ is coming to judge this earth one day.
If God should ask you this question today,
I wonder, I wonder, just what would you say.
What will you do with My Son?
Will you receive Him today?
If you refuse you'll be lost,
And judgment is the price you must pay.
