I was blind and could not see,
He opened my eyes when he found me.
And showed me how he loved me,
By giving his life on that tree.

He is the Great Shepherd,
Searching for his lost sheep.
The Father gives them to him,
And they are safe in his keep.

He hears them when they are crying,
And when they are filled with grief.
The Good Shepherd goes before them,
To rescue and comfort his sheep.

And God will redeem my soul from the grave,
And he shall receive me unto himself.
For the Great Shepherd called me,
With him for eternity.

Oh come and let us worship,
And bow and kneel before him.
For we are the sheep of his pasture,
And the Lord God is our maker.

The Lord is my Shepherd,
I was lost but he found me.
In loving arms he holds me,
Close unto himself.
