The Judgment of This World Shall Surely Come
John 5:22-24, John 12:31, Acts 17:31, Isaiah 53:3-6, Romans 6:23,
John 3:16

Oh the judgment of this world shall surely come,
For the sentence has already been passed.
It was passed by the Father at the death of His Son,
Oh the judgment of this world shall surely come.

For the Father has committed all judgment to the Son,
That all men should honor Him.
Everyone that believes in Him has eternal life,
And has passed from the judgment of sin.

In Isaiah fifty-three, Jesus is described,
As despised and rejected of men.
But He was wounded and bruised for our transgressions,
And He died to pay the price for our sins.

All we like sheep have gone astray,
We have turned everyone to his own way.
And the Lord laid on Jesus the sins of us all,
Oh what a price for us He had to pay.

Yes, the judgment of this world shall surely come,
For the sentence has already been passed.
It was passed by the Father at the death of His Son,
Oh the judgment of this world shall surely come.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son,
That whosoever believes in Him,
Should not perish but have everlasting life,
For God sent not His Son to condemn.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God,
Is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God,
Is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
