Sing to the Lord With Gratitude in Your Hearts
Jermiah 9:1, Isaiah 29:13, Amos 5:23-24, Colossians 3:16,
Hebrews 4:12

I'm crying inside, I'm crying inside,
I'm crying, I'm crying inside.

Oh that my head were waters,
And my eyes a fountain of tears.
That I may weep day and night for the people of God.
Wherefore the Lord said forasmuch,
As this people draw near me.
And honor me with their mouth,
But their heart is far from me.

I'm crying inside, I'm crying inside,
I'm crying, I'm crying inside.

Away with the noise of your songs,
I will not listen to your music.
But let judgment run down as waters,
And righteousness as a mighty stream.

For the Word of God is quick and powerful,
And sharper than any two-edged sword.
Piercing even to dividing asunder,
Of soul and spirit, of joint and marrow,
And is a discerner of the thoughts,
And intents of the heart.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly,
As you teach and admonish one another,
And as you sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
With gratitude in your hearts to the Lord,
In your hearts to the Lord.
