Psalm 24:8-10, Titus 2:13-14, Ephesians 1:5-7
I had a dream some time ago,
Of a man who loved me so.
He never spoke a word to me,
But through His eyes, I could see,
His thoughts came from eternity.
With gentleness He took my hand,
His look told me He had a plan.
We walked on waters dark and deep,
Afraid was I, but He strengthened me,
Someday I knew He'd return for me.
Now who is the man, this man in my dream,
Who stands as a King with authority.
It's Christ the lord revealed to me,
As my Redeemer who set me free,
As my Beloved who's coming for me.
Someday I know He'll return for me,
The One who holds eternity.
Waves of love came through His eyes,
Someday they said, I'd be sailing high,
Someday they said, I'd be sailing high.
The waves were high but I had no fear,
The ocean called and beckoned me near.
The waters were no longer black,
I wondered would He soon come back?
I wondered would He soon come back?
Sailing in a raft was I,
The waters now as blue as the sky.
And oh the joy I felt inside,
As one who would soon become a bride,
As one who would soon become a bride.
And oh the joy I felt inside,
Smiling as each wave passed by.
Waves and waters one with the sky,
At last, at last, I'm sailing high,
At last, at last, I'm sailing high.
