Pastor and people now are one,
For they believe the same.
They trust in books and seminars,
And not in Thy Holy Name.

Yes the light is growing dim,
Within the house of God.
For the people worship men,
And have left their first love.

As the writer to Galatia,
Told the people then,
Who bewitched you that you should,
Trust in the works of men.

Are ye so foolish having begun,
In the Spirit of God,
But now the works of men are wiser,
Than what the Spirit has taught.

Revelation comes from God,
Through the Spirit He sent,
Man should not presume to know,
Or imagine any event.

The Word of God is plain to see,
When we trust Him alone,
To reveal the truth we need,
About His Holy Son.
Or we may be found to trample underfoot,
The Word of God,
And so by doing lead many astray,
And put out the light of God's love.

The Word of God has been lost,
Within the house of God.
The Word of God can only be,
Revealed by the Spirit of God.
Revealed by the Spirit of God.
