One Word from Jesus
John 20:1-16

Mary stood weeping at the grave of Jesus,
Stooped down and burdened with pain.
She saw two angels sitting in the tomb,
Where the body of Jesus had lain.

Why weepest thou? They said unto her.
And she cried unto them,
Because they've taken, they've taken my Lord away,
She wanted to see Him again.

Where is my Master?
Where is my Lord?
Where have they laid my Jesus?
Oh how she loved Him.
Her heart was breaking,
What have they done with my Jesus?

One word from Jesus would take away the pain.
One smile from Jesus, she'd come alive again.
One look from Jesus would take away the fear,
One word from Jesus she would hear.

Woman why weepest thou?
Whom seekest thou?
She heard another voice say.
Sir, please tell me where have you laid Him,
And I will take Him away.

Jesus said unto her,
Mary!
In a voice that she only knew.
It was her Master, he never went away,
Deep sorrow had dimmed her view.

One word from Jesus did take away the pain.
One smile from Jesus, she came alive again.
One look from Jesus, did take away the fear,
One word from Jesus she did hear.
