I will speak of the things that Jesus taught,
When He was on the Hill,
He spoke to His disciples of being the salt,
And of things that must be fulfilled.
Jesus said, you're the salt of the earth,
A voice to be heard in the land,
A witness in the earth that the truth may be heard,
You must be a voice and make a stand.
Lift up your voice before all men,
That they may hear and see your good deeds,
And glorify your Father in heaven,
Let your voice so ring for all to hear.
Yes, Jesus said, you're the salt of the earth,
A voice in the world for all to hear,
Sing and shout, declare my word,
He that hath an ear let him hear,
For the coming of the Lord is drawing near.
I will lift up my voice and praise the Lord,
For God hath done great things,
Many shall see and hear and fear,
And trust in Jesus Christ, the Lord, the King.
