Glorify Thy Holy Name

Ezekiel 9:4, Isaiah 64:1, Jeremiah 13:15-16, Lamentations 3:21-24,
II Chronicles 7:14, Habakkuk 1:13, John 17:1-5

God have mercy on this nation,
I know its judgment we deserve,
For we've been blessed by God Almighty,
More than the nations of the earth.

How can your eyes look down upon us,
Oh God, you must hide your face in shame
For the children you created,
Have turned to that which has no gain.

O God, how can your eyes behold us,
It seems Thy Son has died in vain,
Oh Lord, it breaks my heart to see this,
Oh my, I know your heart is pained!

Oh, that Thou wouldst rend the heavens,
That Thou wouldst come down to visit us,
And make Thy Name known in this nation,
That we may tremble in the dust!

And cry to Thee oh God for mercy,
And turn from the things that we have done
That Thy Hand may be upon us,
Lord, glorify Thy Holy Son!
