For God sent not his son into the world,
To condemn the world,
But that the world through Him,
Might be saved.

Whoever believes in Him is not condemned,
But whoever does not believe,
Is already condemned because he has not,
Believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

And this is the condemnation,
That light has come into the world.
But men loved darkness rather than light,
Because their deeds were evil.

Everyone who does evil hates the light,
And will not come to the light,
For fear his deeds will be reproved.
But whoever lives by the truth,
Will come to the light,
That it may plainly be seen that what he has done,
Has been done through God.

For God so loved the world,
That he gave his only begotten Son,
That whosoever believes in Him,
Should not perish but have,
Everlasting life.
