A Light On a Hill
Matthew 5:1, Matthew 5:14-16, Psalm 24:3-5, Psalm 121:1-2

I will speak of the things that Jesus taught,
When He was on the hill.
He spoke to his disciples of being the light,
And of things that must be fulfilled.

Jesus said, you're the light of the world,
A city on a hill cannot be hid,
A witness to the true light, Jesus Christ the Lord,
No a city on a hill cannot be hid.

Let your light so shine before all men,
That they may see your good deeds,
And glorify your Father in heaven,
Let your light so shine for all to see.

Yes, Jesus said, you're the light of the world,
A city on a hill for all to see,
Don't hid your light, let it shine in the night,
A light on a hill to shine for me.

Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord,
Who may stand in His holy place?
Those who have clean hands and a pure heart,
And who truly seek the Saviour's face.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills,
From whence does our help come?
It comes form the Lord who made heaven and earth,
From the Lord our help does come!
The true light who shines for everyone!

Let your light so shine before all men,
That they may see your good deeds,
And glorify your Father in heaven,
Let your light so shine for all to see,
A light on a hill to shine for me!
